The Anarchist Archive Collection contains select digitized material from the Anarchist Archive.
The Anarchist Archive is devoted to the study of anarchism, with a special focus on the history of the movement in Canada.
History and mandate:
Founded in 2005 by Director Allan Antliff, the Anarchist Archive has a special mandate to collect and preserve anarchist-related materials, including posters, photographs, art work, videos, audio recordings, journals, pamphlets and zines, books, oral histories, correspondence (written and digital), organizational records, and other items.
Holdings include the papers of:

Activist and prison abolitionist Jim Campbell
Keith McHenry, founder of the international activist organization Food Not Bombs

- An anarchist publication from Toronto made to support prisoners in various penal institutions. It began in 1980 and featured articles, letters, art, poetry etc. by prisoners and ex-prisoners. - Description:
- In 1982 the Native Brotherhood Culture Club at Kent Institution in Agassiz, B.C. asked for permission to conduct religious pipe bundle ceremonies involving a pipe, eagle feathers, sage, cedar, and sweet grass. This pamphlet contains testimonials from various Native men, asking forthe ceremony, and lists the roadblocks in the way. Folded inside the pamphlet is a blank petition asking that "the Canadian Judicial system recognize and enforce Freedom of Religion for Indigenous peoples", and a letter requesting letters of support, signing the petition, donations of stamps and envelopes, and financial support.
