The Anarchist Archive Collection contains select digitized material from the Anarchist Archive.
The Anarchist Archive is devoted to the study of anarchism, with a special focus on the history of the movement in Canada.
History and mandate:
Founded in 2005 by Director Allan Antliff, the Anarchist Archive has a special mandate to collect and preserve anarchist-related materials, including posters, photographs, art work, videos, audio recordings, journals, pamphlets and zines, books, oral histories, correspondence (written and digital), organizational records, and other items.
Holdings include the papers of:

Activist and prison abolitionist Jim Campbell
Keith McHenry, founder of the international activist organization Food Not Bombs
Ann Hansen, author of Direct Action: Memoirs of an Urban Guerrilla

- This report was prepared by the Prison Violence Project, Kingston, Ontario, March 15, 1994. Rudolf Martens, Chairperson. Contains statements from Kingston Penitentiary prisoner Jose Prates (506803C) about an incident on Sunday October 24, 1993 when he witnessed a fellow prisoner's (Robert "Tex" Gentiles) death. Also contains a chronology of what happened to Prates subsequently, and an analysis of the psychological and physical manipulation by prison staff to have Prates change his original statements.
