Emigrants Mt [Mountain] June 24/46 [1946]
Snow all morning clearing about
noon. In P.M. [afternoon] climbed to timberline
+ set some [word crossed out] 16 mouse traps in wet
sedge meadow. Found nest with
4 eggs of timberline sparrow.
Emigrants Mt [Mountain] - (my 36th birthday) June 25/46 [1946].
The morning dawned showery -
or rather snow flurries. Got up
at 6 and climbed to my traps.
These held 2 Synaptomys + 2 Microtus
p. [pennsylvanicus] drummondi. Found flickers nest.
