with George Hardy. Vancouver

Stopped in P.M. [evening] Visited [illegible name]
at Court house where we met
Dr. Gusow of Ottawa.
June 23 [1942] - Left Vancouver 6 A.M.
Breakfast at Chilliwack. Rain
all way. Lunch near Lytton; clearing.
Arrived Clinton 6 P.M.
Stayed overnight at Pine Lodge [word crossed out] tree camp.
Rain again at 7 P.M.
Birds seen - Brewer's blackbird, Eastern
+ Western Kingbird, Western + Mountain (?)
bluebird, Sparrow hawk, meadowlark,
mourning dove (Cache creek) Heard Magpie.
Coots, mallard, scaup + teal on
ponds south of Clinton.
June 24 [1942] - Up at 6 + away by 7:30. Fair
Drove south stopping at all wintering[?] points.
Showers. Lunch at 100 Mile House area.
Heavy rain in P.M. [evening] so drove on with
few stops + arrived at Williams Lake
at 4:45 to find Post Office closed (Wed. [Wednesday] P.M. [evening])
Put up at Auto campt after attempting to
locate Munro.
