Guy is still waiting in expentancy
for his leave, but it is really
impossible to say when he will go.
An entrenching Batt. Syl, is a
working Batt., & digs trenches (not in
front or the firing lines) builds dug-outs
& lays trench boards. It's a slade easier
than the job of an ordinary line
batt. & its just a little safer,
but not much.
