The interior of this famille noire wine cup is decorated with an underglaze red zigzag pattern on upper rim and flower on bottom. The exterior is painted with blue and yellow flowers next to a blue-green rock on a black ground. The mark of the Duke of Saxony�s collection is on the base.
60 Set of Wine Cups h: 2.1 to 3.3 cm, Kangxi (1662-1722)
This set of four small cups, in graduated sizes, is painted with different underglaze blue designs of flowers, birds, butterflies, insects and rocks on a powdered coral ground. The interiors are white and the bases have a six-character underglaze blue mark of Kangxi in a double circle.
61 Bowl d: 10.9 cm, Kangxi (1662-1722)
The exterior of this bowl is decorated with peonies and various other flowers on a dark iron-red ground. The interior is white, and the base has a four-character underglaze blue mark of Kangxi yu zhi (made by imperial command of Kangxi) in a double square.
