The music is a combination of partly new and partly selected with new symphonies and accompaniments for the piano forte. Works by Purcell, Fielding, Boyce, Nares, Arne, Cooke, J. Smith, I. S. Smith, T. Linley and R. I. S. Sterens. Arrangements by Linley. Appendix to Vol. 2 contains the music in Macbeth and newly arranged by Samuel Wesley.
