- Sunday Nov 22 At work on a poem – “ The marble table ”: three or four draughts today. To John at nursing home, seems quite right again. Feeling very well but for boil. In evening, supper: Mother, John G, Jenny, Bridget, Laura, myself Then to Maisie's: John seeing about a job by her influence: Maisie not well. Talking late with Laura about Bulton scenario. Wrote to Winston asking for an interview. Letter from L.R. to O.K. about Antigua and town traveller. Bed at 2.
