PublicThe Marionette is a prison newsletter made by prisoners for prisoners and the general public to spread awareness of the conditions prisons and in Marion Penitentiary, Illinois in particular. Later joined with Prison News Service (PNS) focused on political trials, repressive abuses of imprisonment and the resistance to such oppression.
Edited by Bill Dunne. Article topics include: Marion malignancy falters at border, Heat, Marionnotes. PNS no. 13, May-June 1988. "A Bulldozer publication" Article topics include: More political indictments (by Bobby Clark), Toronto in June, Meese machinations, Court capers, Prisons or social solutions (by Kojo Samani Sabadu), Political convictions.
