- Dec 14 Wed. Dictionary : & Ghost Anita & Juan came out with Juanita & Francisca and Anita brought a pair of baroque pearl ear-rings for Laura. We gave Anita her Anger jar, & Juan his Henry Clay cigarettes, and Juanita her umbrella – & Francisca got a blue bead-necklace I had made. Juan told us that his household expenses were 800 francs per day: which the shop had to provide. He had been losing about 4, or 5000 fr monthly for 3 years, because of Franco embargo on Government oranges Worked till 3.30 am, keeping Laura company. She had been having a lot of exhausting talk with Dorothy.
