Peking album [photograph album]

The album begins with photos traveling by boat on the Jangtse [Yangtze] from June 1st though 6th, 1922 on the S.S. Tatung and stopping at Wuhu and Hankow [Hankou] with the Kianghse guild. Then to Peking [Beijing] later in June 1922 beginning with images of the details of the Temple and Altar of Heaven, the Forbidden City, the Observatory, Lama Temple, the Hall of Classics and Confucius Temple, the Temple of Earth and White Pagoda, the White Pagoda again and the Pagoda of Heavenly Peace, Winter Palace [Old Summer Palace / Yuanmingyuan / Imperial Gardens], the Yellow Temple, the City Walls and Gates, the Rockefeller Medical College [Peking Union Medical College Hospital], Jade Fountain [Jade Peak Pagoda], the Summer Palace, the ruins of the Old Summer Palace, Ming Tombs, the Great Wall, Jehol near Peking, and finally Colombo.
