Burrard Inlet [Land Reserves]

A true copy of two maps dated January 9th, 1860 from the National Survey by Capt. Richards on the H.M.S. Plumper, showing the water and land surrounding Burrard Inlet with some markings (hachures) indicating the relief/height of a few areas of land. One map includes English Bay, Coal Peninsula, and False Creek and the other focuses on Port Moody. On both maps there are several areas on the land marked as "Proposed Government Reserves" and the number of acres. Includes scale bars showing Nautical Miles, Cables and Yards. There are also soundings recorded throughout the water.
