Lake District

The Lake District on the east coast of Vancouver Island bordered by the South Saanich and Victoria Districts. Detailed relief markings, sketches, and notes show the land forms and land cover including several mountains. Much of the land is divided into numbered plots that correspond to a narrow column of references in one of the map's margins. Named places include Cordova Bay, Elk Lake, Bear Mountain, Saanich Mountain, and Owl's Head Mountain. There are height measurements recorded on the land forms like lakes and mountains.
