Elza Mayhew Residence and Studio [Project: 107-12-68]
PublicProject material consists of two large folders of architectural drawings and other material pertaining to the renovations to the residence and design of a studio for Elza Mayhew, located at 330 and 426 St. Lawrence Street in Victoria, B.C. Mayhew was a sculptor known for her large abstract bronze works. Included are site plans; floor plans; foundation plans; elevations; section drawings; detail drawings; electrical plans; HVAC plans; specifications; a leaflet for baseboard diffusers; sketches; notes; and other material produced at various stages of the design process. Mayhew’s studio and residence were designated a City of Victoria Heritage Properties in 2011.
