Ad physiologum

Contains 25 chapters of the Physiologus, a study on animals and their behavior, (Greek text and Latin translation), and a homily of the feast of Psalm Sunday (Greek with Latin translation). The "Ad physiologum" consists of Greek original and Latin translation interspersed with Ponce de Leon's Latin commentary. "Beati Epiphanii Episcopi Cypri In die festo palmarum" consists of Greek original and Latin translation on opposite pages. Coll.-vert. C. Ponce de Leon; coll. (P. Angelius Bargaeus; F. Sagerius; Symeon Metaphrastes Logotheta, s.). The ascription to Epiphanius has been put in doubt by the fact that several other Greek and Latin churchmen have been mentioned as the author, none of whom has been authenticated. Cf. K. Krumbacher.
