Plan of the Ashcroft Indian Reserves, Yale District [tracing]

Surveyed by John Gastineau, 1884, and E. Skinner, 1885. [Signed by P. O'Reilly, Indian Reserve Commissioner, 1 May 1886.] [Approved by W. Smith, Chief Commissioner of Lands and Works, no date.] This plan sheet includes tracings of both 22T-IR and 29T-IR. Tracing of a map showing Reserves along the Thompson River where it meets the Bonaparte River including Reserve No. 1; Reserve No. 2; and Reserve No. 3 near McLeans Lake. Included on this tracing but not on the original is a small reference map showng Reserve No. 3 on the Bonaparte River in more detail. Land cover and features described on the map include fields, black canon, mud slides, road from Cooks Ferry to Clinton, Village, hotel, graves, Ashcroft Creek, falls, and types of land, soil, and timber.
