A woman's type : early women type designers in 20th-century book history

Looks at a number of women type designers, and their impact on early 20th century typography and book design. Created as an MA research project for the University of Victoria Department of English. Supervisor: Dr. Iain Macleod Higgins; second reader, Dr. Janelle Jenstad; external reader, Dr. J. Matthew Huculak. This project was supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Cover image: Stefani Williams; cover calligraphy: Renée Alexander. Project issued in an edition of 20 print copies. Library copy is number 1/20.
