Highland District
A survey of the land claims made in the Highland District traced by Cridge. The Highland District is bordered by the Esquimalt and Lake Districts on southern Vancouver Island and is sectioned off into odd shaped plots with the lot owner's name in them. Relief markings, sketches, and notes show the land forms and land cover including mountains, swamps, beaver dams, and lakes marked on the map along with a note explaining the official survey acceptance.
