The Marionette is a prison newsletter made by prisoners for prisoners and the general public to spread awareness of the conditions prisons and in Marion Penitentiary, Illinois in particular. Later joined with Prison News Service (PNS) focused on political trials, repressive abuses of imprisonment and the resistance to such oppression. This issue includes Marionette No. 24 and Prison News Service (PNS) No. 1.
