+ regarded as a good worker + good
research man. but not a great dynamo
of energy.
Ian Sandiman [underlined]:- Doing experimental
work on marine larvae + their development
A tough, hardy, bearded little Scot.
Alpinist + outdoorsman. Good student
but temperamental in application unless
his enthusiasm is aroused.
Derek Smith [underlined]:- Well dressed but not
effete, quiet pleasant chap, keen to
get into salmon or trout work +
has been exploring the physiological
basis of salt water acclimatization
in Salmo trutta vs. [versus] S. [Salmo] fario. [underlined]
The museum gave me a Babirusa
Skull, 2 Takin skulls + an kiwi
skeleton [word crossed out] skin.
They need skeleton + skin of
porcupine, marmot,
