Casts of Fossils [underlined]: The museum at Glasgow has some
excellent models of extinct vertebrates. These
can be had from

Arrived here this morning by train from Edinburgh
+ settled into Room 110 at London House. At 9:30 had
a session with Mr E.H. Boxall of Quaritch.
re [regarding] the auction + then adjourned to the auction
rooms of Sotheby + Co [Company]. Boxall did an excellent job
for us + got almost all our wants at prices
well below I expected to have to pay.
During the afternoon I browsed over the
Quaritch shelves.
Nothing terribly exciting but some very good
items Rothschild, Avifauna of Laysan (incl. [including] Hawaii) 2 vols. [volumes] L [pounds] 48.
Among the new volumes we should get are A. [Austin] Roberts.
