Page includes two letters and one hand-written annotation. Both letters are in regards to the successes of the 56th Battery of the 5th B.C. Coast Brigade, under the command of Major Joseph B. Clearihue. The first letter is from H. C. Thacker, on October 5, 1927, from the Department of National Defense in Ottawa, in regards to the Artillery Efficiency Competitions in 1927. The annotation states that Clearihue's Battery won the Governor General's Trophy in the years 1927, 1928, 1930, and 1931. The second letter is from A. M. D. Fairbairn at Government House in Victoria B.C., on October 7, 1927.
