My dear Syl, Maurice, & Maggie
I will not relate my journey
which was nothing extraordinary
except that we were held up
at Queenstown from Monday
until Friday, because of the
submarines. I should have
said Thursday, that day we
were permitted to land and
were sent via Doublin (sic), & Hollyhead
to London, so got
in Friday morning home; Papa
I found not extra good, his
nerves are very bad, he is
terribly irritable.I left the
following Thursday via Boulogne
saw the Bs, of course, very
surprised to see me, I had
supper there and slept at
Julia where I found Nini (?), whom
were of course also very surprised
to see me. I went to Paris
the following day, went to
the factory the following
day & was told to see the boss
