that killed an elk by itself
was caught by his dogs when
fully engorged weighed 172 lbs. [pounds]

[illegible word crossed out] saw the 5 wolves at Willow
Creek this fall - 3 grays + 2 blacks.
George Camp tells me that when he
was in the Tonquin in October
two wolves were working the
valley and had apparently been
harrying the caribou which were
very wild.
