represented - most of them on the
way to Celestine Lake. of these 8 [female symbol]
1 [male symbol] All seemed in good condition
the buck had antlers almost 8 inches
long already

Saw two bucks up the Miette about
3 miles.

Two shed antlers near the Buffalo
Prairie trail testify to the winter presence
of deer.

On a strip 14 miles long + about 1/8 mile
wide counted 30 mule deer. This works
out at 14/8 = 1.7 sq. [square] miles for 30 deer.
