a doe - 22 [+/-] months old + weight
estimated 70 lbs [pounds] [+/-]. On first
evening 5 deer left the forest +
moved out onto the spit to feed
apparently on the antennaria? (yarrow)
+ the leaves of a compound leaved
plant taken to be a composite.
Molluscs on this beach were
Schizanthecerus[?], Saxidomus, Siliqua,
Clinocardium, Panomya, Mya truncata,
Spisula, Zirphea [Zirfaea], Thais lamellosa,
Acmaea mitra, Calyptrea +
occas.[occasionally] Haliotis, Tellima sp. [species]
