Yoshida Hodaka, 1926- , (medium: woodblock), comes from a family famous for printmaking. His father, mother, brother and wife are all noted artists.
He used traditional Japanese printing methods to create powerful abstract forms, and has become a major leader in the abstract art world of Japan.
