Dear Mr. Liu Guang Zu,
From your official letter dated 24th and telegram today, I learned about the Case of Maid. I lodged a stern protest by telegram to the Provincial Governor and the Speaker of the House respectively and published them in the newspaper to give wide publicity. I am now discussing with the Chinese Consolidated Benevolence Association in Vancouver to find a resolution. I would try my best to protect the interests of Chinese. Please advise me of any progress you have made.
Attached is copy of the telegram
Yours sincerely
Lin Bao Heng
