Aug. [August] 13. 1938. T.T. [Tom] McCabe tells us that Mrs
Allan of Berkeley Calif [California] USA has been carefully checking
arrival of waders in San Francisco Bay
region this year (1938) found first return
arrival of waders was July 8th + majority
were back by July 15th
Aug [August] 13/ 38 [1938] RE Luscher found Northern
Phalaropes, Greater + Lesser Yellowlegs, Dowitchers,
Western + Least Sandpipers, Dunlin,
Cinnamon + Blue Winged Teal out
in slough - very low tide. -
