[1924] An adult [female symbol] (#502) taken with completed egg in oviduct. Egg very pale whitish buff with umber brown spots + blotches mainly at large end. Breeding both side Alta Lake. Mons BC [British Columbia] [underlined] July 1st-5th 1927. Common about Lake + especially in dense swamp between Alta + Green Lakes. Two taken.
