Red Mtn. [Mountain] Alta Lake B.C. [British Columbia] Aug. [August] 1. 1928. Quite common
in the stunted firs about 6000' [feet]. Still feeding young
One juv [juvenile] [male symbol] taken almost fully feathered. Several
times old birds were heard to sing
Winters about Vancouver B.C. [British Columbia]
Victoria B.C. [British Columbia] Sept. [September] 13, 14 + 15., 1936
Considerable migration of these birds
mainly seen in evening. Numbers same
into weed grown yard at 1014 Burdett Ave.
Also noted along Cook Street +
at other points.
Sea Island B.C. [British Columbia] May. [space left blank] 1937. One seen
by side of road. Came to whistle call.
