Three hours later they came back on the run +
separated. [female symbol] came to within 500 yds [yards] then
stood with head low chewing cud for 3/4 hr. [hour]
while I stalked + shot her.

abdomen.
Antlers:- still soft at the tip.
Measurements:- 2045, 210, 585, ear from

Parasites:- Many warble scars but
no warbles found.
No Cephenemyia in throat but
many 1st instar on posterior turbinates
Several hundred stomach worms
left ear torn as if by carnivore teeth.
Food:- 70% grass 20% dwarf willow (next
size to arctica [underlined] 5% indet.[indeterminate] 5% Equisetum
Breeding:- This animal had borne a calf
this year but lost it. There was still

the presence of so many Cephenemyia.
As they ran they shook their heads
+ tossed their heads as if avoiding fly
attack.
