Three trapped alive near Lake Louise
this winter. Tracks + animals were
seen frequently during the winter.
Bryant Cr. [creek] June 23/43 [1943]
[James (Jim)] Simpson tells me that he once saw
a wolverine treed by two coyotes.
Mr [Jame] Woods [Wood], now Supt. [superintendent] of Jasper shot
it out of the tree.
Whiteman Cabin. June 15/43 [1943]
Fresh tracks in the mud by our
water hole.
Healy Creek. July 18/43 [1943]
At 4500' [feet] on Mt. [mount] Bourgeau found where
a wolverine had eaten a marten. Lower
jaw left. Had deposited a small
fecal pellet entirely of Pika hair + claws.

contents white footed mouse, squirrel + microtus

[Warden J.J.] Meredith reports that near Blacks Camp
in winter of 1940 he found where
two wolverine had killed a coyote-
Torn it into 2 pieces + left it.
