is all elk summer range, goat
range + to a limited extend summer
deer - pockets of sheep. Moose winter
+ summer down in the balsam
+ tall willow.
Immediately to the east of our
camp the valley + hillside are
burned clean - about 30 years ago?
practically no forest reproduction, hillsides
covered with weeds + grass + a
light stand of low willow. much
of it the Shepherdia leaved variety

11 elk
5 sheep
2 goat.
1 Blue grouse sawback summit
2nd [second] Lake:- Tenessee Warbler, Redwing, Killdeer, Song Sparrow, also
on 40 mile. Fox sparrow sawback lake, Also
