[underlined] Bore a small number of small ulcers [word crossed out] abcesses. [abscesses] Stomach contents:- 90% willow tips 8% Carex 2% Equisetum Foetus:- [female symbol] near term measurements:- L. [length] 830mm, tail 41mm, L.f. [hind foot] 410mm ear 123mm weight 24 1/2 lbs. [pounds] Spray Lakes. June 12/43 [1943] Saw 3 moose en route today + plenty of sign indicating 2 places where a bull had torn up an area 30-40 ft. [feet] diameter Pellet count moose 24, elk 9, deer 1 in Timber. Bryant Cr. [creek], June 23/43 [1943] A few moose wintered up the Spray pretty well to the head. About 5 or 6 wintered down by the Spray Lakes.
