15 Mile Cabin, Spray River. June 11/43. [1943]
Saw two of these squirrels just south
of the cabin. A female collected had just
ovulated. Noted the same peculiar, orange
colored glands in the axilla as I found in
the sexually active [female symbol] sciurus [underlined] at Devona in April
Have also seen callys [underlined] at Castle Cabin Camp +
at 103 mile + 86 mi. [mile] on the Jasper Highway
Windy Cabin, Panther R. [River] July 3/43 [1943]
Saw 3 in burnt timber on Cuthead Cr. [creek]
Cairn Cabin. Aug [August] 3/43 [1943]
Abundant all over high ridges
All now have month pronounced [?].
Little Heaven Summit Aug. [August] 17/43 [1943]
Still active on high rock ridges here.
