Returned to here today making
inspections of various adjacent
areas en-route.
Just N [North] + E [East] of Mt [Mount] Wardle mule deer
wintered until 1925+/- + a few may
still do so.
Sheep occurred on the valley face
of the mts [mountains] adjacent to Deer Creek, that
is on the S [South] N [crossed out] + W [West] face of mt [mount] Selkirk
probably as recently as 1920 + may
still do so. [Warden J.J.] Meredith shot rams
in the autumns of 1914+1915.
Game seen:-
Elk:- 18 ad. [adults] and 2 calves.
Moose:- 4 ad [adults] + 3 calves.
Whitetail:- 13 ad [adults] 1 fawn
Goat:- 6
Bear- 4.
