Arrested by Det [Detective] Phillips of [struckthrough] in Seattle on the information of Det [Detective] Perdue and brought back by Sergt [Sargeant] Redgrave. Charged with Breaking and entering Mr. Magneson's house 33 Third Street and stealing a quantity of furniture etc. Also with stealing a bicycle and hose. 8 years employed on the S & [and] S Ry [Railway] [photo, upper right, 211] Sept 16th Sept 17th 1901 Run out of the City Warrant Issued Dick Richards alias Prof Earlston Arrested by Sergt [Sargeant] Walker, Palmer & [and] Carson, Suspected of stealing cloth from Ah Hoys & [and] Fugi's tailor shops. Also on the information of Det [Detective] Perdue with being a frequenter [photo, lower right, 212] Claude Baker The same as #211 Nos. 212, 211, & [and] 213. Combine their professions, being Aeronauts, Hoisters and pimps, and general crooks.
