- BAN PROPERTY TRANSFER
With regard to the immovable property which belonged or belongs, either to the United States of America or the British Empire, or to their nationals and is located in the Shanghai area,
IT IS HEREBY PROCLAIMED:
(1) That the transfer, or any other change in the legal status, of the above property effected after this day shall be null and void, unless it is prove that the transfer or any other change in the legal status is not made to avoid the consequences that might arise from the enemy character of such property;
(2) That the transfer, or any other change in the legal status, of the above property effected before this day shall be null and void, unless it is proved that it was bona fide and in conformity with the law;
(3) That the transfer, or any other change in the legal status, of the above property effected on or after 26th July, 1941, shall in particular be deemed null and void, unless the parties concerned submit relevant documentary evidence to the Japanese consulate-general within seven days from this date.
