About 12 or 15 of these birds came about
camp in early morning. [Ian McTaggart] Cowan + I secured
four specimens, all breeding birds 3/[male symbol] +
1/[female symbol]
June 24/37 [1937]. Collected an ad. [adult] bdg. [breeding]
female from spruce tree at camp
June 26/37 [1937] Three seen near camp
about 5 p.m. all males
Mt [Mount] Revelstoke B.C. [British Columbia] July 4/37 [1937]. No Evening
Grosbeaks have been seen to date by any of
our party at this elevation: 6000/6300'
