  • 6) Donations of Property: On a Form obtainable on request in the Civil Assembly Office, please give details of any property which you are prepared to donate. Cracked wheat and other foodstuffs in excess of requirements may be donated to the International Red Cross. 7) General Notes: 1) Sealing of Promises: Seal only the room(s) which isare the office to which the Removal Permits are taken. 2) Letting of Promises: Not permitted. 3) Special Medical Treatment: If you are under special medical treatment, please supply details to the Medical Desk in the Civil Assembly Office. 4) Dismissal Allowances: Persons working for supervised firms are recommended to ask for dismissal allowances. If any difficulty is experienced in this connection they should request their Supervisor to contact Mr. I. Banjo of the Japanese Consulate General. 5) Alcoholic BeveragesPoisonous Medicines: Wines, spirits, other alcoholic beverages and poisonous medicines must not be taken into the Civil Assembly Centre. 6)Stickered articles: Stickers may be ignored excepting those on the articles listed on Page 1 (B) of the Japanese Consular Notice issued to persons called for Civil-Assembly, but note that bicycles, pianos and typewriters are on a supplementary list and may not be disposed of. 7) Silverware: Silverware may either be lodged with the Protective Power _Office in British Consular Compound) or disposed of. If lodged with Protective Power, only small, open, parcels may be handed in. 8) Camp. Parcels: The International Red Cross will be notified of all lists of persons assembled and may be approached re Entrance Number, etc. 9) Milk Supply: The problem of Milk Supply is being dealt with, but there is no decision yet. 10) Double Beds: Persons are advised not to take in Double beds, but to obtain two single beds. 11) Relief: All questions of advances are to be referred to the Disbursing Committee. Ensure that you and your family are adequately equipped for living in a Civil Assembly Centre.
