  • Albatross. July 8. 1939 Mr [Thomas T.] McCabe + I took a short days trip to the Goose Island banks + took four Black footed albatross + Saw two more. Upon examining the stomach contents three of them had remains of Squid in the stomach + two Needle fish. All were very fat + in good plumage. These Albatross also had sharp [illegible word] stones in their stomachs. July 18. 1939. Made another trip to the Goose I. [Island] Banks + took one more Albatross Mr. [Thomas T.] McCabe also took an Albatross. Mine contained remains of cuttlefish in its stomach.
