The first half of the herd came
in today. They were corralled with
relative ease + the roundup got
under way about mid morning.

The first part of the second half
of the herd was corralled today
with the second part in the holding
pen. I spent the entire day assisting
in the Roundup.
Kidliut Bay. to Reindeer Sta. [Station] July 29, 1947.
The roundup was completed by 1 oclock
today. Oldham, [Lee] Post + [Mush] Sharron spent
the day on a seal hunt out
in the flue ice some 20 miles
off Pullen Island. Shot a 2 year
old harbour seal
In afternoon left + headed back
to Reindeer Station. Here we found
the tractor repairs incomplete and
we had to wait overnight.
