On Alkali flats.
(1) [circled] Of 14 Mallard nest under
observation 3 were predated
by crows.
2 other Mallard nests some
found previously predated
by crow.
(2) [circled] Earliest Mallard downies June 10th
(3) [circled] First nest found established - June 27th.
(4) [circled] Nest # 16 Pintail was very
possibly was 2 nest. 2 [illegible word crossed out] crow
predated nests were found
close.
(6) [circled] High water + flood this [words crossed out] a great portion
of area being under water, estimated
nesting + nest may have been
concentrated on high ground
owing to this forest.
