- Golden Eagle.
July 17/48 [1948] Lac La Hache
[Leo] Jobin tells me that on the
west side of the Whitewater
river 3 miles below the falls
there is a low rack bluff
upon which there is an occupied
eagles nest that you can reach
into. The parents attacked him
as he was examining the young.
July 20/48 [1948]. Williams Lake.
[Leo] Jobin says that he once saw
an eagle buffet a bighorn lamb
from a cliff + states further
that several of his acquaintances
have seen the same thing + have
even had them kill domestic
calves.
