but eaten slightly earlier in
the summer.
Yerba Buena (Micromeria Douglasii)
growing tips eaten very occasionally,
grows only on the rocky bluffs
under some shelter.
Manzanita - the young
tips had been heavily browsed
no sign of Arbutus [underlined] browsing
since growth of new leaves
some bracken tips but very
little + tips of the large
swamp fern.
