10 prs [pairs] adult [male symbol] + [female symbol] + 3 extra
[male symbol]'s taken from inside hind legs
+ on neck. Each [female symbol] had a male
clinging to her, several were
actually in coitus. One [male symbol] was
at the sight [site] of a recent tick
meal marked by an inflamed
area the size of a nickel.
Dermacentor albipictus [underlined]
On head found
3 adult 12 nymph + 2 seeds of
this species
Lice [underlined]:- Moderately abundant,
About 1 to every 2 square inches
in some areas 1 per sq. [square] inch.
Young + old both present.
Lipoptena [underlined]:- On dorsum
+ head, none on abdomen.
2 puparia recovered, both rather
undersized.
Cysticercus [underlined]:- 23 all of much
the same size about 1/2 inches to
3/4 inch across. On omentum, mesentery
of colon + on body wall!
Onchocerca [underlined]: numerous in
all four legs.
Black flies out in small
numbers.
