Visited the Zoology Labs at Cambridge + found them
very well equipped in an elaborate new building
Their zool. [zoology] lab is 36' x 110' with the aisles almost
8' wide; off it are store rooms + a preparators room.
The museum is excellent + is well equipped to
illustrate the details of vertebrate evolution +
many of the most dramatic highlights of adaptation
I noted a particularly ingenious exhibit, in model
form, of vertebrate respiration. The museum
curator feels that the predominance of experimental
work has put his contributions into the background
Museum is housed in a wing of the main bldg. [building]
In the main part there are floors for Ent. [Entomology],
Exp. Zool. [Experimental Zoology] General zool. [zoology] + in the basement are
well equipped constant temperature rooms, dark
rooms, aquarium + vivarium rooms, animal rooms,
technicians quarters + so on.
