1. Research [underlined]:- The main attack is being
made by means of detailed case histories of about
200 marked birds. Marking is done by attaching
a plastic strip to the bases of the wings with
strips of chrome-tanned horse hide. These have lasted
4 2 years. Birds are caught during the winter
