June 24/36 [1936] . Okanagan Falls.
10 + pairs in cliff at falls. 20 +/-
pairs in cliff at head of Vasseaux
Lake - E [east] side. 6 +/- prs [pairs] on cliff
on W. [West] side of Vasseaux. Others on
nearly all suitable cliffs.
When two were chasing each
other in flight I frequently saw
the front one left its wings straight
over its back + travel perhaps
3 or 4 seconds in that position
Only once saw one come down
to the lake + hover over the water
Nov [November] 4/41 [1941] Vancouver
F [Frank] Beebe reports White th [throated] Swifts on
big Iona cliff 6 mi [miles] NE [northeast] of Kelowna
near oil wells on McCulloch Road.
Seen there in spring (May) for
4 consecutive years - probably
nesting 50 +/- birds
